User called saying all her documents are "screwed up". Win10 v I looking at the machine I see that both Excel and Word all of the TrueType fonts are 'missing'.

I did tell Windows tech that when viewing the fonts through displahing, they were only installing in local user folder, not local machine, but he said it should not be relevant. I finally reset the font settings using one of the links you provided thank you! I then installed the font again by displaing clicking and installing for "all users".
This is important because that changed it from installing for the current user to installing wndows local machine. I have to note that for some reason when I tried it before it didn't work and only worked after I reset all the font settings.
That did the trick. Word immediately recognized the font. I am still unsure why they did not work from the local user, because I am the only user, but it might have something to do with the account I use for the office VS the account I use when I login. I honestly have no idea and I am not tech savvy enough to know. Would be nice to understand it.
